May 12, 2006 - Shaikh, in his '91 Mazda Miata sponsored by Fat Cat Motorsports and Aftershocks Suspensions, took his first TTOD of 2006 at a Golden Gate Lotus Club practice event in Marina, CA. The design was by John Stimson (A/S S2000) based on Sunday's course at the 2006 SCCA Atwater National Tour. Shaikh's best time was 49.58sec, the only driver to get below 50 seconds all day, ending up 0.7s ahead of the next fastest car.
